Piet Mondrian

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND Piet Mondrian was born Pieter Cornelias Mondrian Jr. in the Netherlands in 1872 and studied at an imposture academy called the Rijksakademie train Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam from 1892 to 1897.
